HOBART — During six weeks on the road to raise awareness about forest preservation, the Forest Cycle has run information stalls, talked to schools, lobbied politicians and held public meetings and music evenings. In the last week of their 800-kilometre trek around Tasmania, the activists will return to Hobart for Hiroshima Day activities on August 7. They are planning a public ride through the city after the march. For information, phone Sunny on 0417 702 181 or e-mail <forestcycle@hotmail.com>.
