HAITI: Thousands of Aristide supporters protest

On March 5, more than 10,000 people marched from the slums of of Port-au-Prince into the city to demand the return of President Jean-Bertrand Aristide.

Waving Haitian flags, and pictures of Aristide, the protesters condemned the French and US military occupation of their country. "Bush terrorist, Bush terrorist", they chanted. They vowed to protest every day until Aristide was returned.
