Why

Both PM Anthony Albanese and NSW Premier Chris Minns will be attending the NSW Labor Party Conference on 27-28 July at Sydney Town Hall. This is our chance to send a direct, powerful message through mass protest:
LABOR: STOP SUPPORTING GENOCIDE!

Over nearly 8 months of Israel's genocidal assault on Gaza, around 40,000 Palestinians have been killed, including 15,000 children, and numerous war crimes committed, including the deliberate mass starvation of the population; the targeting of civilians, journalists, healthcare and aid workers; the forced displacement of millions of civilians; the systematic destruction of hospitals, homes, schools, mosques, churches, power plants, desalination plants, and bakeries; and the torture of Palestinian prisoners.

International Criminal Court prosecutors have now applied for arrest warrants for Israeli leaders Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes.

Despite all this, the Australian Labor Party, and the governments of Australia and NSW which they run, still proclaim their support for the state of Israel, continue to sign military deals and export military components aiding Israel's genocide, refuse to cut military, economic and political ties with this terrorist state, and have not backed efforts in the ICJ or ICC to hold Israel to account for war crimes.

Albanese has been more outraged by our chants for justice and liberation "from the river to the sea", than he has by the actual genocide taking place in Gaza. And Chris Minns would rather arrest peaceful protesters than stop supporting war criminals.

Be there to demand:
- Stop arming Israel!
- Sanctions now! Cut all military, economic, political and diplomatic ties with Israel!
- Support international efforts to prosecute Israel's war crimes
- Investigate Australians who have joined the IDF for war crimes

Timeline of protest for the weekend:
- Mass protest and march: 12pm Saturday 27 July
- Rally from 8.30am Saturday to be there as delegates arrive
- Sunday 1pm: rally and march from Hyde Park to Town Hall for day 2 of the conference.
