Why

Since Albanese's Labor government has been in power, it has continued to roll out many of the Coalition's unpopular policies such as the Stage 3 tax cuts, and the controversial AUKUS nuclear-powered submarine deal.

In addition to spending tax-payer money in ways that further the interests of the ruling-class, this government has refused to support practical measures that could improve the quality of life for all Australians, such as capping rents during a cost-of-living and housing crises.

Every time that the Albanese government is criticised for not carrying out serious reforms that help working class people or the environment, the refrain 鈥淒on鈥檛 let the perfect be the enemy of the good鈥 gets rolled out to silence progressive critics.

Why is the government refusing to carry out serious progressive reforms? What is the essence of the ALP government? Is the ALP ruling for the rich or the working class? Have ALP governments always been like this?
