Choices: Women Getting Involved 鈥� Many women feel so strongly about the obstacles in their lives that they become motivated to get involved in politics. Often this is at the community level and sometimes even parliament. In this program we hear how some women got involved and how that has impacted on their lives. 2SER Sydney, 107.3 FM, Wednesday, March 27, 9pm (repeated Friday, March 29, 9am).

Paradise Lost: A Wild Colonial Childhood 鈥� The continuing late night saga of William Lane's utopian socialist experiment in Paraguay at the end of last century. The Woods brothers and their sister, Rose Menmuir, recall their experiences as children at Colonia Cosmi. ABC Radio National, Thursday, March 28, 1.30am.

Radio-Eye: The African Connection 鈥� Features voices from the African Connection, a segment of the Toronto International Film Festival that highlights the cinema of the African continent and diaspora. Many of the same themes surface in the work of black film makers from Africa, the Caribbean, Britain and the US. Directors speak candidly about their process and inspiration. A special focus is the cinema of Burkina Faso, which has is a centre of African film production. ABC Radio National, Sunday, March 31, 8.30pm.
