More than 100 people attended a colourful rally outside Tony Abbott's Manly office on September 25 to express their anger at the dishonesty of the Howard government.

Representatives of the Socialist Alliance, the Stop the War Coalition, the Greens, the Acehnese Community of Australia and the Refugee Action Coalition and others spoke out against the federal government's false claims that asylum seekers threw their children overboard, that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, that Saddam Hussein had links with al Qaeda and that Australia would be a safer place after attacking Iraq.
