Why

In these challenging times, when the cost of living is skyrocketing and many in our community are feeling the pinch, it’s more important than ever to come together and support one another. That’s why I’m inviting you to join me for a free community dinner at Yeronga Community Centre.

This isn’t just about sharing a meal; it’s about sharing strength and solidarity. The dinner will be lovingly catered by members of the Palestinian community, bringing the rich and vibrant tradition of Palestinian food to Yeronga. In Palestinian culture, food is more than nourishment - it’s a way to build connections, foster understanding, and show care for those around us.

I’m proud to be part of a community that looks out for one another. Whether you’re feeling the pressure of rising costs or simply want to connect with your neighbors, this event is for you. Let’s come together, share a meal, and discuss how we can create a future where everyone in Moreton has the security and support they need.

Spaces are limited, so please RSVP to secure your spot! Bring your family, bring a friend - let’s show what real community looks like.

Together, we can tackle the big issues, starting with connection and care. I can’t wait to see you there.
