Behrouz Boochani, Kurdish-Iranian writer, activist and journalist previously held on Manus Island for six years: “91������̳ media and group is one of the most independent platforms in Australia and that's why we should support it. It's really important that 91������̳ is a voice, medium or platform for minorities and marginalised people in society. We should not only support but also protect it because we need it and they have done a great job in the past year since I have known this paper. I know how they have been really important to be a voice for refugees and marginalised people. We really need to have this media and this group keep going and keep working and that's why I think it is important.”
