Workers Health Centre celebrates

SYDNEY — More than 200 people celebrated 21 years of activism at the Workers Health Centre's Birthday Dinner Dance on October 24. The centre was founded in 1976 by a group of doctors and left-wing trade unionists concerned to promote workplace health and safety and treat workers sick or injured as a result of their job.

Twenty-one years on, the Workers Health Centre still provides bulk-billed medical and audiological services for workers, work-site safety inspections, occupational health and safety training for union delegates and rehabilitation services for injured workers. For more information contact the Workers Health Centre on (02) 9897 2466.
