Climate protesters tell Labor it has a mandate to act fast

Climate protesters from Sydney, Canberra and the New South Wales South Coast held up placards and banners demanding immediate action on climate change as Labor MPs arrived at Government House to be sworn in on June 1.

The event was coordinated by Climate Action Network Australia (CANA), Australian Youth Climate Coalition, Extinction Rebellion ACT, Australian Parents for Climate Action, Bushfire Survivors for Climate Action, Stop Adani Canberra, 350.org Canberra, Climate Action Canberra, Australian Religious Response on Climate Change, Australian Conservation Foundation and Conservation Council of the ACT Region.
