The Korean community group Sydney Candlelight Action held an action in the suburb of West Ryde as part of the global call for a peace agreement to officially end the Korean War, 70 years after the 1953 armistice.
Community activist Joon Shik-shin warned that the South Korean government was allowing United States nuclear submarines to visit,听making听Korea 鈥渢he most dangerous battleground in the New Cold War鈥.
Moses J Hahn, Minister of Castle Hill Presbyterian Church called on South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol to step down for 鈥渆scalating the war crisis in the Korean Peninsula鈥.
