Prime Minister Anthony Albanese described men鈥檚 violence against women a 鈥渘ational emergency鈥 in July, when already 54 women had been murdered. Thousands took part in national rallies over July 26鈥28.
Back then Labor pledged to do more, but only slightly increased funding to services.
Much more needs to be done to eliminate violence against women and children, the November rallies were told.
The names of murdered women and children were read out in Gadigal Country/Sydney, including Australian aid worker Zomi Frankom, who was slaughtered in Gaza by Israeli forces.
