Jews Against the Occupation ’48 (JAO’48) hosted a silent vigil, with candles and posters, on the steps of Sydney Town Hall on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, January 27, to commemorate the genocide victims in Europe, Gaza and in this unceded country.

It is 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz. How much longer until the liberation of Palestine? Never again means never again for anyone.

JAO’48 was joined by representatives of Labor Friends of Palestine, Families for Palestine, Coalition of Women for Justice and Peace, Socialist Alliance, City of Sydney for Palestine, Sydney Hearts in Action, 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳ and Stop the War in Palestine.
