A giant letter demanding Prime Minister Anthony Albanese push harder to have Julian Assange released from Belmarsh Prison was read out outside his聽electoral office on July 3.

Assange is an Australian citizen who faces charges under the United States Espionage Act. The US is trying to have him extradited for revealing its war crimes.

Only two people were allowed into the PM鈥檚 office by the two Federal Police, who have become a fixture at the weekly protest. HONK FOR JULIAN protests are held every Thursday at 11am outside the PM鈥檚 electoral office at 334A Marrickville Road, Marrickville.

鈥淚t is a cacophony of support for Julian鈥檚 immediate freedom,鈥 one protester said.
