A prayer vigil for Palestine on November 23 drew hundreds to Harmony Square in Dandenong in Naarm/Melbourne, Amanda Villalobos reported. Jim Memeti, Mayor of the City of Greater Dandenong and Sue Bolton, Merri-bek Socialist Alliance Councillor, gave their solidarity, and a local imam led the gathering in a prayer.

Thousands marched again through the streets of Gadi/Sydney on November 26 against Israel鈥檚 genocide in Gaza. While numbers were down on the last two weekend mass demonstrations organised by Palestine Action Group Sydney, Peter Boyle reports there is a sense that the movement will power up again if there is no real ceasefire and just political settlement.
