Turkey’s invasion of Kurdistan protested

Members of Perth’s Kurdish community and their supporters gathered in Murray Street Mall on June 26 to protest Turkey’s invasion of southern Kurdistan (Northern Iraq).

The protest also expressed solidarity with the Rojava Revolution and the left-wing People’s Democratic Party (HDP), who have suffered intense repression at the hands of the Turkish government led by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
