Aboriginal rights activists marched to Redfern's Department of Family and Community Services (FACS) on Monday 7 November to protest the forced removal of Aboriginal children from Aboriginal families by the child protection services.

There have been numerous cases of Aboriginal children being abused in the foster care system. Mothers spoke at the protest and one mother was granted a meeting with FACS, after protests continued out the front of FACS offices in Redfren.

The action is part of a series of protests in the lead up to the Human Rights Day rally on December 10.
