Refugees set up a protest camp outside the electorate office of Clare O'Neil, Minister for Home Affairs and Cybersecurity on July 15 to demand permanent visas.

A flyer being given out to passers-by says: 鈥淲e are refugees who have been left behind for over 12 years.

鈥淢any refugees have lived in Australia without a permanent visa. This long period of uncertainty has caused deep pain and suffering. Families have been torn apart, with loved ones separated for years.鈥

[The refugee protesters are encouraging supporters to visit them at 19 Atherton Road, Oakleigh, Melbourne.]
