Prime Minister Scott Morrison has temporarily shelved its “Religious Discrimination Bill”, which would have allowed religious schools to discriminate against and vilify students and staff for their sexuality or gender identity, after public outcry drove some Coalition MPs to cross the floor on February 10.

Nevertheless, thousands turned out to protests around Australia demanding that this discriminatory legislation be killed off completely.

This is video footage of the Sydney march on February 12, which was organised by Community Action for Rainbow Rights.
