US Civil Rights veteran Bob Zellner on 'Son of the South'
A new film, Son of the South, tells the story of Bob Zellner who broke from his Alabama Ku-Klux-Klan heritage to become the first white Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee organiser — and nearly got lynched for it.Â
Zellner spoke with Barry Healy, expanding on the film’s story to include his radical trajectory from the 1960s onwards.
