Between 400鈥800 people braved the heat in Naarm/Melbourne on March 18 to say 鈥淣o more Iraqs鈥 on the 20th anniversary of the illegal war.

The event was hosted by No AUKUS Victoria Coalition and supported by Melbourne for Assange; Pax Christi; Melbourne Unitarian Peace Church Memorial; IPAN-Victoria; PEN Writers for Peace; Spirit of Eureka; Solidarity; Philippines Caucus for Peace; Bayan Australia; XR Westside; Quakers Victoria and Students Against AUKUS.

Speakers condemned the AUKUS nuclear submarine pact with Britain and the United States and demanded that Julian Assange, who has not committed any crimes, be freed.

Similar protests were held in Adelaide, Hobart and Sydney.
