Prime聽Minister Anthony Albanese claims that Labor is 鈥渄etermined鈥 to close the gap, but the latest report shows things have gotten worse for First Nations people. Isaac Nellist reports.

This year, the First Nations suicide crisis has not only continued its dramatic escalation, but the lack of adequate response only worsens as the rates rise and it remains relatively unacknowledged, writes Paul Gregoire.

Earlier this month, a 10-year-old Aboriginal girl took her own life in a small Kimberly community near the town of Derby in Western Australia. It is believed that her life leading to her suicide was marred by 鈥渢rauma and tragedy鈥 and she had previously witnessed the suicide of a close family member.
