The Labor government鈥檚 crushing win in the WA election means it is unlikely to deviate from its neoliberal policies and enthusiastic support for the mining and fossil fuel corporations, writes Sam Wainwright.

Deposed Liberals Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull described the factional implosion in his party as 鈥渁 kind of madness鈥. It sure looked like it 鈥 and there may be even more 鈥渕adness鈥 ahead.

Two weeks into a protracted election campaign, it is looking ever-more likely that climate change is to be placed way down the order of business 鈥 at least for the major parties.
